What to Expect from Your Treatment

Whether you are looking for support with a sudden, short-lived illness or a longer-term health concern, the homeopathic approach offers caring, individual support. If you have an acute condition such as a bad cough or cold, or need support after an accident or surgery, I offer short appointments by telephone or email. Having a Homeopathic First Aid Kit at home gives you the opportunity to gain a better understanding of just how homeopathy can support you and your family in acute situations, and I am happy to offer guidance to support you (see Acute fees). Chronic conditions are often more complex and may need longer, more in-depth support over time. You may already be a long way down the line with medical treatment for a diagnosed condition, but your own unique symptom picture remains key to the treatment we select together. 

Step 1: A Free 20 Minute Phone Call

A good relationship between practitioner and patient is an important part of the healing process, so I offer a free 20-minute introductory chat, giving you the opportunity to share a little about the support you are looking for and allowing us to gently explore whether working together feels right. 

Step 2: Your Initial Consultation (1.5 to 2 hours)

If we decide to move forward, I will ask you to complete a simple questionnaire or jot down a summary of your main symptoms, medical and family history, and a timeline of significant life events. This will help us get the most out of your first appointment. 

During our first consultation, we will look at the whole picture of your health. I will ask about your lifestyle, diet, sleep patterns, and how you handle stress. Every detail helps me find the most accurate treatment for your unique needs, so please be as open as you can - everything we discuss is held in the strictest confidence. Together we will create a tailored treatment plan that prioritises what you want to address most.

Step 3: Follow Up Appointments (45 minutes to 1 hour)

Healing is a gentle process. Follow up appointments give us the opportunity to assess your progress and adjust your treatment as needed. Sometimes improvements are so subtle you might barely notice them whilst you may be able to see positive shifts in other minor symptoms. The number of follow ups you need will depend entirely on your condition, and we will always discuss this together.

The Consultation and the Remedy

The consultation is an important part of the therapeutic process. I will listen with compassion and be guided by what matters most to you. Together, we will explore how your experiences, emotions and patterns of stress may be affecting your health, and agree which concerns need attention first. This process can offer greater clarity, a fresh perspective and a sense of relief, particularly when stress or anxiety is central to your symptom picture.

I will then select a homeopathic remedy that reflects your individual symptom picture and builds on the work we have begun together. Depending on your needs, its energetic resonance may offer physical or emotional support, or both - whether the underlying picture involves factors such as hormonal imbalance, physical illness, stress, emotional strain, or a combination of influences. 

Remedies are usually provided as tablets or pillules, but may also be prescribed as a liquid, gel or cream. Single doses are included in the consultation fee and will be given to you on the day or sent by post. We may also discuss gentle, practical lifestyle changes that could support your journey towards better health.

  • Single, split single, or ascending doses: Included in consultation

  • 2g bottle of pillules: £2.50

  • 4g bottle of pillules: £5.50

  • 8g bottle of pillules: £7.50

  • Postage and packaging (where applicable): Approximately £4.25

Cancellations/rescheduling

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice before your appointment or full fees will be charged.
